(Take it from a chick who's open about being into energy and planets and Tarot cards and self-help and crystals.) We face a lot of judgment and criticism throughout life, each day, as humans, especially when we risk being authentically weird. 'Just be yourself' is the oldest, most hackneyed advice in the book.Īnd yet, it remains so relevant and, at the same time, often profoundly difficult - even for us grownups - to pull off. It seems so basic and obvious that I worry it'll get a bunch of eye rolls instead of what I *hope* these posts bring you, which is a momentary flash of introspection to enrich your day as you scroll. This is a conversation I have with my 'tweens on a near-daily basis.
